Frequently asked questions

What time can can I pitch up/pitch down?

You are welcome to arrive from 12:30pm onwards. On your departure day, we kindly ask that your tent is packed away and your pitch vacated by 11:30am.

What is the nearest train station?

Haywards Heath is our nearest station.

It's approximately 10 minutes by car to Field and Fallow. There are usually plenty of taxis available outside Haywards Heath station. Please bring cash for taxis. The 270 bus also runs from Haywards Heath to Horsted Keynes station (approx 15 minute walk) but it's best to check times before you arrive.

How do I book the sauna?

You can sign up to a sauna session when you arrive at the campsite. The cost for the sauna depends on your group size (£20 for one person, £30 for two people, £40 for three or four people).

Can I bring my children/dogs?

To help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite, we are generally an adults-only destination. We may, however, be able to accommodate babies on occasion- please contact us before booking.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept dogs, but assistance and guide dogs are welcome.

Do you allow music?

We love music but we also love sleep. This is a peaceful site with neighbours close-by. There is strictly no music after 10:30pm and any speakers must be kept at a low volume please.

Do you allow groups?

Please contact us to discuss before making any group booking over 6 people.
